Word Master Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes what data the app Word Master collects and receives. The app is designed to use as little data as possible. It explicitly DOES NOT collect or share sensitive personal information, such as your name, gender, age or contacts.

In General, all information we gather is used to operate and improve the app and user experience, provide technical support and deliver more relevant advertising

Support:

When we receive a mail support with complaints or suggestions your email adress and name are visible to us and some information is automatically attached to the message, such as your in-game settings, game state (scene, matches, board), device model, platform (iOS or Android) and app version. None of this information is shared with third parties.

Advertising:

Word Master parters with external services to display in-app advertisements. These services may collect your device advertisement identifier and use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting and to combat fraud and abuse. They may also retain your device's advertising identifier and link it with info gathered from their other services in order to deliver personalized ads (ads relevant to your specific interests). We have no access to any information held by them. Users in the European Economic Area may opt out of personalized ads on a certified prompt shown on first launch. Other users can opt out of interest-based advertising through device settings. The iOS mobile device may provide a "Limit Ad Tracking" setting. On Android devices, your settings may allow you to "Opt out of Interest-Based Ads". The Pro version DOES NOT use any advertising service or any SDK needed to operate it. Analytics:

Word Master uses Google's Firebase as an analytics service. Firebase privacy policy is available here. It may collect items like your session length, game mode you're playing and selected board layout. All this information is anonymized, in that it does not contain personal information like your name or email address or unique device identifier.

Crash reporting:

Word Master uses Google's Firebase Crashlytics to collect reports of crashes. When a crash or unwanted event is detected it is sent to the service to be inspected by the developer. Crashlytics automatically attach certain information to the report that does not personally identify the user of the App. This information includes, but is not limited to, device state information, device hardware and OS information, and information relating to how the app functions.
